Accessing Attribute Summary Statistics
First, access your layer’s Attribute Table (by right-clicking on its layer name in the Contents panel and clicking Attributes).
To access summary statistics for a field, right-click on the field’s header in the Attribute Table, then click Explore Statistics.

The Field Statistics Panel
This will summon the Statistics panel with a variety of summary statistics for the chosen field. It also includes basic field properties (such as data type).
You can find the additional statistics by scrolling to the right in the main panel.
Within the panel, you can generate charts, update the symbology of your map (based on the chosen field) and execute several other operations.
On the right, you will find a list of the layer’s other attribute fields. Statistics for these fields can be added to the main panel and calculated for quick comparison.
The demonstration below includes accessing a field’s summary statistics and adding (and calculating) the statistics for an additional field. It also hovers over various options available within the panel. (Left-clicks are pink; Right-clicks are yellow.)
