Identifying the CRS of a Feature Layer

This tutorial shows how to navigate to a layer’s coordinate reference system (CRS) information.

To find the coordinate information of a layer, right-click on the name of the layer in the Layers Panel. Hover your cursor over Layer CRS to view the layer’s CRS.

In this example, the layer subway_entrances uses the CRS NAD83 / New York Long Island (US Feet), which is also indicated by its EPSG code (2263).
