It’s midsummer, and we’re steadily moving through our growing list of software skills tutorials, updating those that need it before classes start in the fall. New team announcements: We are sending off Sally Kaye with the best of wishes and the greatest of thanks for her contributions and tremendous work. And we are welcoming Evin Schwartz to the Mapping101 team as a Research Intern at Meisterlin Projects.

Updates from the Month
This month’s updates are largely confined to the “background” as we comb through changes to software and check our list of skills tutorials. Typos are getting fixed as well as more substantive updates to existing tutorials.
We continue to develop new resources and increase software parity. For example, Exporting a Raster Dataset in QGIS has been added to the list this month.
Coming Up
We will round out the summer by continuing to update the tutorials we have and we have a slew of new tutorials for raster geoprocessing in QGIS on deck for August!
